Making Space
June 11 - November 12, 2026 Art A La CarteStep into “Making Space”—a new monthly maker series where you’re invited to create, connect, and casually meet Executive Director Dr. La Ruchala Murphy while making art together.
Once a month, Dr. Murphy is moving her desk to the studio to work on a hands-on art project and you’re invited to pull up a chair and join in. No agendas, no presentations, and no artistic experience required. Just two hours to work side-by-side and create something from scratch.
- When: The third Thursday of every month | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Where: 200 Hasel Street, Room 202
- The Vibe: Low-pressure, tactile, and down-to-earth.
